What: A TQPOC centered event to define what #Safetyis for LGBTQ+ migrant and POC people in Phoenix. With art, performance and conversation we will create and envision a world past policing, persecution, cages and criminalization.

What: A free community event with food, raffles, community resources, music, performances, food, games for kids, and activities to bring the community together and reimagine what safety and joy is without policing. There will be free haircuts for kids 14 and under by Eblendz on a first come first served basis.

What: Art and culture can be used as tools to activate/motivate people to approach, interact, understand, and coexist with their neighbors. Sol Collective plans on holding an evening with live performances, hands-on activities, self care activities, designed by Youth Leaders to encourage neighbors to come together around creating a safe community. The event will be held at Sol Collective Arts & Cultural center at the intersection of 4 very diverse neighborhoods and will encourage interaction between a wide group of residents.

What: This Night Out for Safety and Liberation is an event exploring how we might define safety if it was truly inclusive. Join San Francisco neighbors for an evening featuring speakers from Critical Resistance and the Coalition on Homelessness, entertainment by local performers, and food catered by local Bayview businesses. Come hang out with your neighbors and help break down the race, class, and housing barriers that divide us.
