What: A free community event with food, raffles, community and wellness resources, live music, performances, and activities to bring the community together and reimagine what safety and joy is without policing.

What: This will be a small community gathering with food, conversation and mutual aid/resource distribution.

What: Our event is a neighborhood block party with neighbors and community members on Rhoda Avenue in the Dimond District.
Organization: Restoring Justice for Indigenous Peoples

What: Our event will promote the use of ”MH First Sacramento”, a project of the Anti Police-Terror Project, and “model for non-police response to mental health crisis.” RJIP will educate and support community efforts in implementing MH First (mental health first) while centering California Indigenous people, and utilizing community organizing and advocacy to restore justice to these communities and ancestral homelands.

What: Being a good neighbor is sharing space, not colonizing it. San Francisco’s Black residents are reclaiming our own space and place in our City’s shifting neighborhoods. We must honor the land and the legacy of those who came before us.

What: Our youth members will host a virtual poetry event about reimagining safety from the perspective of daughters with incarcerated parents. Poetry will be focused on the affects of capitalism on the livelihoods of young Black women and their mental health. This will be a zoom event.

What: Prophetic Resistance Boston is hosting our Night Out for Safety and Liberation events August 6th and 7th in two Boston neighborhoods. The event will include bouncy houses, free food and drinks, entertainment, DJ, poets, art, resource tables, National Guard Game Van, and giveaways.

What: This event will be a partnership between our neighborhood/block groups and Organic Oneness- a grassroots, social justice organization that co-creates with communities to mobilize systemic change, healing, and wellness, foregrounding Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC). We'll host a neighborhood block party, just a couple blocks from George Floyd Square, with food, music, and conversations about reimagining public safety.
